does anyone know about red palm oil?

Someone suggested I use this for my African Gray, who plucks. Where do I get it and what is it? Thanks!

Red Palm Oil is good for all species of birds, but yes, Grey's should have it. Depends on where you buy it, but you want the the kind that is made from the flesh of the Palm fruit. Must be kept refrigerator, then you can put a small amount in a small glass bowl and sit the bowl in hot water until the oil softens, then is ready to use. Do Not cook with it, it smokes. Add to any foods your bird likes, doesn't take much.
Some birds will eat it on top of warm foods or chopped vegetables and some birds we have to be sneaky and put it in birdie bread, cooked rice and bean mix.
My flock doesn't like it so I make french toast with a cooked and cooled, then mashed yam, stirred into the beaten egg's with abit of OJ
and I use whole grain bread or wheat berry bread.
I cook in coconut oil, but you can use alittle butter. Cool, cut in pieces and serve warm for meal or treat.
I make alot for my flock, cool and put in small zip loc bags and freeze.
